Tiffany & Co Engagement Ring | The Tiffany Setting

Today's video is quite possibly the most expensive unboxing I've done to date, and I am beyond excited to share this purchase with you. Surprisingly I hadn't come across other videos reviewing the ever-so-iconic Tiffany Setting Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring. There are numerous videos about "Tiffany Style" engagement rings but so few about the actual Tiffany Ring. Throughout this video I will demonstrate how the diamond appears under various lighting sources, such as under fluorescent lights of a cafe, LED lights, natural sunlight, and indoors at T&Co itself. Here we have today a 1.55 Carat Tiffany Solitaire ring in the iconic "Tiffany Setting" with a platinum band. As you may know, the Tiffany Setting signature is comprised of an elevated diamond secured by 6 equidistant prongs, allowing the optimal amount of light to shine through. Platinum is a highly popular engagement ring setting, as it is 950 parts per 1000 of pure pla

Soul Cycle Rivaling Peloton with At-Home Spin Bike Option | Brand Comparison

Ever since its release in 2014 of the first at-home indoor cycling bike with live and on-demand streamable classes, Peloton has dominated in this particular at-home market segment.   It is not hard to see why - with a user base of over 1.4 million users and a motivating app experience, it remains a strong presence in the fitness community.   With a rumored release in the next few months, Soul Cycle now has an at-home indoor cycling bike as well, currently available for pre-order.   Is it enough to disrupt the market space and prove to be formidable competition to Peloton?   Price Soul Cycle’s offering is $250 more than Peloton’s bike at a pre-order price of $2,500.   It will launch with Equinox media through Variis, a digital platform that includes brands such as Equinox, Soul Cycle, Pure Yoga, Precision Run, Myodetox, and HeadStrong.   This contrasts with Peloton’s app which features only said brand.   When is Soul Cycle’s bike available?   According to their site, it is

Peloton Bike Review + Before & After 3 Week Results

Today's blogpost features my Peloton Bike that I've own for 3 weeks so far. Since receiving it, I've been riding 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes each session. I've lost 2 pounds so far, and this is solely using the bike and not changing anything else in my diet/lifestyle. Priced at $2,245, it is by no means a budget exercise equipment option, however I would say the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion. Access to their library of live and encore (pre-recorded) classes runs $39 per month, but if you were to consider the cost of a single spin class at Soul Cycle for example, that would already run you $35 per session. In a nutshell, I love this bike for 1) its convenience, 2) the motivational classes that help keep you focused, 3) its smooth, silent ride that can be done at any time of the day, & 4) its size of 2x4 which I find quite compact. All classes are filmed in their NYC studio so if you want to join live, consider the time zone d

Adidas Superstar Holographic Stripes

These Adidas Superstar shoes have been wildly popular ever since their release a few months back, countless online retailers have sold out of their inventory and the in-store selection is quite picked over as well, with mostly larger sizes left.  These shoes are only available in kids (or "Juniors" sizing which equates to a 3.5 - 7) but luckily for most, these shoes run 1/2 - 1 size larger than your non-Adidas counterparts.  For example, I am typically a size 6 but in this shoe, I am a 5.5.   I am hoping these shoes will break in over time, because initially they are quite stiff and can feel a bit heavy once worn.  Then again, I may be biased, as I typically reach for my Nike FlyKnit Roshes on the day-to-day (exceedingly light weight and mold perfectly to my foot.) What started as a basketball shoe has morphed into a street-wear staple.  These shoes come with a smooth leather upper, iridescent three stripes, and iconic shell toe. xx Christina Marie

Chanel Perfect Edge Flap Bag Review

Chanel Perfect Edge Flap Bag #A37007 with Calf Leather and Gold Hardware Let's get into a few details on the bag.  For starters, when worn on the shoulder, the bag rests slightly above waist level (I am 5'4" so I'm sure this fact will differ slightly based on your height).  This is not one of those bags where the strap doubles up for a shorter length or a cross body option (think any of the classic flap bags).  For variety, you may also carry the bag as a top-handle but I tend to avoid doing so, as I don't want to put undue strain on the leather fastenings.  Cleaning cloth for the bronze hardware The bag is divided into two main compartments, with one section significantly larger than the other.  In the main section there's enough room for a long wallet, phone, keys, and lipgloss (that's what I carry at least!).  I try not to overfill the bag as I don't want to stretch it out risk any possibilities of leakage

Chanel Metal CC Signature Crystal Brooch

Chanel Metal CC Signature Crystal Brooch Paved with Strass Style #A86919   This Chanel brooch has got to be the most blinged-out piece of jewelry I own to date; the crystals provide a high-shine reflective glamour.  This  Metal CC Signature Brooch Paved with Strass is part of the Spring Summer 2015 Collection.  Pictured online at Chanel.com is a red version; I have the gunmetal silver brooch.  The Chanel brooch price is $850 (suggested retail price). Style #A86919 #Y02003 #Z4307 There are a multitude of ways to wear Chanel brooches, making them quite possibly one of the most versatile pieces of jewelry.  In the above picture I have pinned it in the center of the collar for a symmetrical, preppy look.   So simple.   The front of the brooch is lined with rows of multi-faceted crystals exploding with a fiery gunmetal color range.  The back of consists of smooth, matte silver.  It is safe to say the crystals reflect the respective color of the surrounding
